Partners with Justice celebrates first anniversary
September 2009

Diane Rogers, founder of Partners with Justice in May 2008, claims that visiting her incarcerated son, Willie, inspired her to start the organization. “After a number of visits, I realized that family and loved ones of prison inmates were confused about a lot of issues related to prison and visitation structure,” she says. “There were so many gaps and much uncertainty. People didn’t know how to obtain support resources.”

PWJ, a non-profit, offers encouragement, healing, informational resources, collaboration and networking with other support programs, and a safe system of support where emotional and mental issues are addressed. PWJ is expanding to partner with community and correctional institutions so that family and supporters of incarcerated individuals gain more knowledge of inmates’ needs and how prisons operate.

PWJ meets the first Monday and first Thursday of every month.  See their website for the Cincinnati, Ohio locations: www.partnerswithjustice.com. The email address is partnerswithjustice@yahoo.com
